Well, I’m studying psychology, in the third year.
I would really like to change so many things about the curriculum, the professors, the way of the lessons are given, the approach of the program and others things.
1. I think that the program must be more focused on the people, in our humanity because we are not machines. It may seem obvious but for the university it is not. I really think that is necessary to have more interpersonal subjects, because we need to know each other and ourselves, especially if we are going to work with more people.
I feel really disappointed of psychology in this university and of this university in general. I’m not saying that this place is bad, but I expected more of the noted Universidad de Chile.

But well, I think that in the first year there are many subjects that are more for others years, in the future or maybe for some specialties that we will want.
Maybe many subjects are planned in the wrong approach, at least for me, for the reasons I mentioned above.
2. I feel a strong need of subjects more down to earth, more practical from the first year on.
I have heard many classmates saying the same thing, because most of us feel that we are not even prepare to be a psychologist, and this is sad.
3. Also I would like change the way that the professors deal with the classes, also with something closer and attending all the differences between the students.

  1. If you have a good time, when you go out alone, you do not have to face the most practical situations, it's super nervous now that you have to do the practice!!
